This ACT amends the Antigua and Barbuda Merchant Shipping Act, 2006, No. 1 of 2006 in order to provide for the provisional registration of ships and for connected and incidental purposes.
Information regarding the European Commission bringing emissions from shipping into its 2009 climate and energy package and the resulting regulation which entered into force on the 1 July 2015.
