Information Notice 2014-006; Proposed Implementation of the Nairobi International Convention on the Removal of Wrecks

The Convention will come into force internationally
on 14 April 2015, by which time Antigua and Barbuda intends to have the relevant
legislation in place and be in a position to issue the necessary certification in a similar
manner to that which is currently in use for the International Convention on Civil Liability
for Bunker Oil Pollution Damage (2001)
A circular will be issued by early 2015 to give guidance on this subject once the
necessary legal arrangements have been put in place.
