This Circular was originally published in 1998 as 01-003-98. It was revised in 2012 and is republished in this new numbering scheme. It sets out the policy of ADOMS towards verification of the authenticity of seafarer’s documents and explains the responsibilities of Companies and others towards ensuring that fraudulent documents are detected and rejected.
